In this video I am demonstrating how to play Amazing Grace in "3" different keys: Key of G, Key of D and Key of A. I am playing the major pentatonic scale of each key up and down on individual strings with a Dunlop 266 Mudslide Porcelain Slide.
The equipment being used is: early 80's Ibanez Artist with a Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup (neck pick-up-parallel) Seymour Duncan JB pickup (bridge pick-up-parallel), Custom Billm Modified Fender Blues Junior, Ernie Ball Classic Rock 'n' Roll Pure Nickel Strings 10-46, Horizon right angle cable, Dunlop 266 Mudslide Porcelain Slide, PICKBOY Exotic Pick-ebony.
The video was shot with an iPhone 6s Plus with the FiLMiC Pro app. The audio was recorded with an iPad Air using the RØDE Rec app with a RØDE iXY Stereo Microphone. Lighting is a single Fancier Studio Fan 500A 3 LED Light Panel.
I used GarageBand to add some subtle audio processing.
"Every revolutionary idea seems to evoke three stages of reaction. They may be summed up by the phrases: One, it's completely impossible. Two, it's possible, but it's not worth doing. Three, I said it was a good idea all along." - Arthur C. Clarke
