In this video I am creating a Jam Track with a basic Spanish-Flamenco type progression:
||Am |Am |G |G |Fmaj7 |Fmaj7 |E |E ||
I start off by playing some improvised lead guitar for "4" times through the progression and then leave "4" times through the progression free for you to improvise along with my rhythm track. I repeat this for a total of "4" times through the basic 4 bar progression.
The equipment being used is: Takamine CP-132SC nylon string guitar (bongo sound is created by hitting the back of the guitar). The arpeggiated rhythm track and lead guitar track are played with a Dunlop JazzTone 208 pick. The strummed rhythm track with rasqueados is played finger style (I keep my right hand nails very short).
The audio recording was done using Rode NT5-Matched Pair microphones into an Apogee Duet into an iPad Air running GarageBand. I am using a pair of AIAIAI TMA-2 Modular Young Guru Preset headphones for monitoring.
