In this guitar etude, I am playing a late 80's Ibanez Artist with a Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup (neck pick-up-parallel) through a Custom Billm Modified Fender Blues Junior in a custom designed cherry wood cabinet with a Jensen Special Design C15N speaker. I am using an Ultex Large Triangle .060 pick, D'Addario NYXL Nickel Wound Strings 09-42 and a Horizon right angle cable.
The percussion track is the DrumJam app for iPad running through a pair of TAPCO S-5 Active Studio Monitors.
The audio was recorded with an iPhone 6s Plus using the Voice Memos app with a RØDE iXY Stereo Microphone. I'm using both an ATS Acoustic Bass Trap - 24 x 48 x 4 and a DIY acoustic baffle made from "8" pieces of 16 x 48 x 2 Ultra Touch Denim Insulation placed about 12 inches behind the amp.
For audio mastering, I've added a compressor and limiter in GarageBand. There is no EQ or reverb added.
I don?t know? I think I?d like to say only that they should learn to be alone and try to spend as much time as possible by themselves. I think one of the faults of young people today is that they try to come together around events that are noisy, almost aggressive at times. This desire to be together in order to not feel alone is an unfortunate symptom, in my opinion. Every person needs to learn from childhood how to be spend time with oneself. That doesn?t mean he should be lonely, but that he shouldn?t grow bored with himself because people who grow bored in their own company seem to me in danger, from a self-esteem point of view.
